Job Details
The Information Security Manager oversees cybersecurity and conducts complex technical work across IT operations, cybersecurity and compliance processes, while leveraging best in class cybersecurity tools. Management experience is ideal as you will have at least one direct report.
You'd Be Responsible For
- Developing and maintain company wide cybersecurity practices.
- Identify and eliminate security vulnerabilities with strategic solutions that increase data security.
- Stay up to date with the latest and emerging technologies within cybersecurity, as well as the latest compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage third-party vendor relationships for security and compliance.
- Collaborate with Legal on contract reviews.
- Review compliance of vendors, service providers, and consultants handling sensitive data.
- Perform internal cybersecurity audits and software performance evaluations.
- Maintain and update IT Security and Compliance training materials.
- Prepare executive summaries on security posture.
- Advise IT project teams on risk and compliance requirements for new systems and processes.
- Monitor IT infrastructure, manage outages, ensure timely resolution, and meet SLAs.
- Oversee IT Operations expenses and implement cost-effective technology solutions.
- Manage compliance activities in ServiceNow, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Support IT audit processes, including SOX/SOC controls, and coordinate with auditors.
- Develop and implement internal controls and best practices to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Maintain IT Operations' controlled document library, ensuring policies and procedures stay current.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with cybersecurity tools (e.g., Cofense, CloudFlare, CrowdStrike, Nessus) preferred.
- Familiarity with ITIL and certifications like CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or similar is a plus.
- 5 years of technical project management experience or relevant certifications.
- Background in IT Compliance, Information Security, Risk Management, or Audit.
- Knowledge of IT and Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform), networks, and telecommunications.
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar service management tools preferred.
