The Role:
We're searching for a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our high-performing data team. You'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the Oracle databases that power our core business operations.
What You'll Do:
- Develop & Maintain Oracle Databases: Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle database systems, including tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, and functions.
- Optimize Performance: Optimize database performance through advanced PL/SQL techniques, including analytical functions, merge statements, and Oracle partitioning.
- Troubleshoot & Resolve: Diagnose and resolve database performance issues, ensuring optimal system performance and availability.
- Collaborate & Deliver: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Data Analysts, Business Analysts, Engineers) to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality results.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Implement and maintain database security measures and ensure data integrity.
What You'll Bring:
- Oracle Expertise: 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database administration and development.
- PL/SQL Mastery: 8 years of experience with PL/SQL development, including advanced features like analytical functions, merge statements, and partitioning.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong SQL skills, experience with performance tuning, job logging, and stakeholder interaction.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate within a cross-functional team environment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A strong analytical mind and the ability to solve complex database challenges.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with UAT, unit & integration testing, and requirement gathering.
- Strong communication skills.
