Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee testing of relays and other equipment in substations, including supervising internal and contract crews.
- Perform and assist with acceptance and installation tests for substation and protection / control equipment.
- Manage and conduct testing on substation and protection / control systems.
- Review and handle various substation switching tasks.
- Analyze test results for equipment, determining pass / fail criteria and identifying corrective actions when needed.
- Install, test, and maintain new or upgraded system equipment.
- Safely operate equipment such as bucket trucks, aerial lifts, skid steers, and forklifts.
- Ensure proper maintenance of company vehicles, testing tools, and equipment.
- Prepare and verify routine reports.
- Demonstrate expertise in the field and provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members.
- Act as a lead during assigned projects or activities, performing work with minimal supervision.
