Senior Automation Engineer
Role Summary
The Automation Controls Engineer is responsible for implementing control systems and PLC / HMI / SCADA programming. This role involves design, development, programming, integration, troubleshooting, commissioning, start-up, and optimization of control systems.
Key Responsibilities
Program and configure PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
Design and integrate automated equipment
Develop software and hardware specifications
Troubleshoot and start-up control systems on site
Perform QA / QC testing
Consult with clients and interact with project teams

Qualifications & Skills
Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience : 5 years in control systems with PLC, HMI, and SCADA experience
Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PLC programming, and control system networking
Soft Skills : Strong communication and organizational skills
Certifications : EIT Certification and Ignition Software certifications are preferred
Additional Requirements : Ability to obtain a TWIC card and willingness to travel
