Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of subject matter experts to deliver comprehensive asset management services for a portfolio of utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems.
- Foster a collaborative team environment based on trust, open communication, and creative problem-solving.
- Oversee asset management and ensure project companies meet contractual obligations while maximizing asset value in line with the owner's objectives.
- Develop and implement a business plan that aligns with owner goals, project structure, and contract terms.
- Ensure timely reporting of performance results from project teams to corporate stakeholders.
- Optimize asset performance while considering the appropriate risk profile.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, sharing insights with business partners.
- Represent the company's interests at the project level to maximize profitability, including participation in budget planning.
- Stay informed on commercial, financial, and technical matters related to assigned projects.
- Coordinate with third-party O&M providers to resolve plant issues and improve availability and minimize downtime.
- Lead internal reviews to assess current and future project performance.
- Support project teams in resolving project, contractual, commercial, or regulatory challenges.
- Represent the project in internal discussions on status, strategy, and growth opportunities.
- Make key decisions related to plant operations, commercial hedging, risk management, regulatory matters, political outreach, taxes, finance, and project debt.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of asset management experience with utility scale solar and BESS
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Contract and tolling agreement experience
- Strong financial background
- Strong analytical skills
