As the Pre-Construction Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the development, engineering, and project management teams for this fast growing electrical contractor. The Role :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Underwriting, Project Development, Legal, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management) as well as external consultants to ensure all necessary pre-construction tasks are completed.
- Conduct site evaluations, including preliminary site inspections and the review of environmental assessments, geotechnical reports, and topographic surveys.
- Monitor and assess permitting requirements to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations in coordination with the development team.
- Prepare and evaluate project plans, covering aspects such as timelines, budgets, scopes of work, risk assessments, and engineering specifications.
- Support the management of the request for proposal (RFP) process, ensuring the accuracy of bids, competitive pricing, and the selection of contractors.
- Assist in the creation of construction budgets, schedules, and risk evaluations.
- Ensure the timely completion of all pre-construction milestones, proactively addressing potential delays.
- Effectively manage deliverables and critical action items between internal teams and external partners.
- Oversee the seamless transition of projects from preconstruction phases to the execution team.
