Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized BILINGUAL Expediter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to enhance the overall dining experience.

Duties

• Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.
• Communicate effectively with cooks and servers to confirm order details and address any special requests.
• Assist in food preparation and handling, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management.
• Help train new staff members on proper procedures for expediting orders and maintaining service standards.
• Ensure that all dishes are presented attractively before they leave the kitchen.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and banquet service is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork and customer interaction.
• A background in hospitality or related fields is beneficial but not required.
• Must speak fluent English and Spanish to communicate with team
