This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage guest relations effectively while maintaining a smooth flow of operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
- Collaborate with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure timely service.
- Monitor guest flow and adjust seating arrangements as necessary to optimize the dining experience.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience in guest services or hospitality is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
