- Perform history and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans for patients with various gastrointestinal and liver disorders
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families on disease prevention, management, and lifestyle modifications
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and professional development activities
- Communicate effectively and coordinate care with two physicians and other members of the health care team
- Position is M – F 8 to 5

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
- Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in gastroenterology or a related field - preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel to different locations within the region as needed with a primary work location of Danville IL
