Pay range for this position is $30.11 - $43.84/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Ambulatory Charge Nurse champions nursing care standards and supports the needs of the practice while aligning policy and competency. They assist in overseeing and directing the work of the clinical care team, precept new care team members, and provide direct patient care. They lead by example and demonstrate accountability for ensuring safe, high quality patient care, enhancing the patient and family experience, and providing effective leadership that contributes to OSF Mission, Vision and Values. They determine work priorities and assist with resolving operational and patient care needs.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- License/Certifications: Current State License as a Registered Nurse (IL)
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment
- Experience: 2 years of experience in the office/clinic or similar office/clinic
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- License/Certification: Certification in area of specialty ACLS; PALS
- Experience: Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems
- Excellent customer service skills as demonstrated in past work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
