Expected pay for this position is $38.75 - $45.59/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview

This position may have the option to work full remote for an incumbent who is not within 65 miles of Peoria. If within 65 miles of Peoria the incument will work 3 days in office at JUMP Simulation Center in Peoria.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Automation Engineer I supports the design, development, documentation, deployment and maintenance of automation products by using a combination of automation enabling tools including but not limited to SQL, Python and UiPath. This position also contributes to the analysis, interpretation, presentation of and education on automation solutions in support of OSF HealthCare's strategic objectives.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or other related quantitative discipline.
Experience: 2 years of experience applying analytic methods to large, complex datasets.
2 years of experience using SQL, Python or other programming language.
2 years of experience mapping and/or analyzing process and data flows.
Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 1 year of experience build automations through a robust RPA tool, such as UiPath, Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere.
1 year of healthcare related data/analytics experience.
1 year of experience working within the EPIC data ecosystem.
License/Certification: UiPath Certified RPA Associate UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer
Other requirements/information: Demonstrated ability to contribute to automation solution development, including: analysis, interpretation, presentation, and ongoing monitoring/support. Demonstrated competency presenting automation project summaries to clinical and non-clinical audiences across all levels of personnel. Demonstrated knowledge of automation technologies. Demonstrated proficiency in SQL to extract and transform data. Demonstrated experience working with health information system tools. Epic Clarity data model fundamentals training is required within 90 days of employment and certification within 6 months of employment. Certification must be maintained according to Epic requirements. If not already held, training and certification as both a UiPath Certified RPA Associate and UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer are required within the first 90 days of employment. Certification must be maintained according to UiPath requirements.
