What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health LPC/LSW/LCSW position at OSF HealthCare?
Expected pay for this position is $30.58 - $35.98/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Behavioral Health Provider, LPC/LSW/LLMSW will follow the scientist practitioner model to receive intensive training in the application of the scientific method within context of clinical service delivery. The provider is responsible for providing direct patient care while under the supervision of an LCSW. This includes, but is not limited to comprehensive intake assessments, treatment planning, promoting patient progress with goals, individual, couples, family, or group therapy. This person will effectively manage a patient caseload and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the age and diagnoses of the patients served.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Masters in Social Work
Licenses/Certifications:
LSW (Licensed Social Worker) in Illinois LLMSW (Limited License Social Worker) in Michigan LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
Other skills/knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Exposure to a broad range and mix of cognitive and/or behaviorally-based interventions.
Individuals in this position will be working towards their LCSW and will need to obtain this licensure within 3 years from the date of hire.
Other requirements/information:
Ability to efficiently document in electronic health record.
