Expected pay for this position is $38.75 - $45.59/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Analyst is primarily responsible for the overall business process which support cost effective management for the departments of the assigned region in the OSF Ministry.
Combining strong analytical, computer and communication skills, this position will be the primary resource to assist the Executive Team, Directors and Managers in designing and implementing efficient delivery systems. Supports financial stewardship by planning and forecasting staffing needs, program growth/revenue opportunities and reviewing cost containment strategies as part of a triad with the Directors and Senior Financial Analyst for server area assigned. Ensure services meet established productivity and fiscal standards, routinely presents recommendations to management.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Experience:
- Approximately three to five years progressive work related experience necessary to gain comprehensive knowledge of business processes, plans and implementation strategies.
- Proven leadership skills in organization, team building, training, and problem solving are required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access is required.
- Advanced analytical skills are required to address operational and system problems, to gather and interpret financial and clinical data, and to prepare clear, concise management reports that alert administration to opportunities and threats and propose appropriate action plans.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are required to share complex information with administration, division directors and managers.
- Independent judgment is required to prioritize tasks and projects and work without a significant amount of day to day supervision.
- Flexibility and the willingness to adapt to evolving job roles within the constantly changing work environment of the Medical Center is required.
Other skills/knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
