- Collaboration is vital to any team. We are actively recruiting for a board eligible/certified cardiac surgeon for a position within the OSF cardiovascular service line. Become a member of our Cardiology team at OSF Cardiovascular Institute, Peoria Illinois.

The cardiovascular service line consists of 3 CV surgeons, 4 cardiothoracic surgery physician assistants and over 55 cardiologists. You will walk into a progressive practice that will be busy from day one with a primary care referral base of 300 providers.

- Focused intently on the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular, and endovascular disease in our patients, the OSF Cardiovascular Institute also retains subspecialties in consultative cardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular medicine, preventative cardiology and cardiology research.
- Delivering our patients specialty care through our Pacemaker and Defibrillator Clinic, Lipid Clinic, and Anticoagulation Clinic.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice medicine in current state. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
