Expected pay for this position is $35.33 - $41.57/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Rehabilitation (Rehab) Admission Coordinator evaluates candidates who meet the Rehab program criteria and will benefit from the program. The admission coordinator manages the internal and external referral and admissions system for the Rehab Continuum, including the ongoing evaluation of the admission process. Educates patients, family members, referral sources, and external payers on the rehab admission process and coordinates a smooth transition to the rehab setting. Develops and maintains positive relationships with internal and external referral sources and promotes the rehab continuum through education and marketing activities. This position serves the following patient age categories: adolescent, adult, and geriatrics.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelors
- Licenses/Certifications: CPR-Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation RN or PT or OT or SLP in Current State Other skills/knowledge: Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 2 years of experience in Rehabilitation. Completion of Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse within 2 years of employment. (RN Only)
