Pay range for this position is $33.36 - $50.34/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coordinator Quality and Clinical Programs leads the creation, distribution, and maintenance of policies, procedures, protocols, care guidelines, and standing orders. Promotes excellence in clinical practice, nursing leadership, through the role as change agent, educator, consultant, mentor, researcher, program developer, and professional role model. Facilitates and supports various ad hoc committees and councils.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Experience:
- 3 years of nursing/clinical work experience
Licensure/ Certification:
- IL Reg Nurse License or MI Reg Nurse License
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Advanced interpersonal skills in order to communicate, both verbally and in writing, and work effectively with hospital administration, physician leaders, and ancillary leadership.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to function autonomously in a complex healthcare system, as well as work as a team member or team leader on complex projects.
- Management skills to be able to lead widespread change.
- Demonstrated ability to grasp abstract concepts, think creatively, and design new and original systems and programs.
- Advanced analytical skills necessary in order to develop recommendations for and assist in implementing changes in resource documents, evaluate the results or outcomes of system changes, and develop educational programs.
- Advanced computer skills.
