Pay range for this position is $36.08 - $53.56/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Radiation Oncology Intake Nurse Coordinator is responsible for triaging all new referrals for the Radiation Oncology Practice. The Radiation Oncology Intake Nurse Coordinator works closely with various physicians and healthcare professionals within and outside of Radiation Oncology to coordinate the patients’ schedules for optimum patient flow, timely care, and productivity. Radiation Oncology Intake Nurse Coordinator will serve as the main contact for providers and patients until all necessary information is obtained and the initial Radiation Oncology appointment scheduled. Additionally, the Radiation Oncology Intake Nurse Coordinator will support Radiation Oncology clinical nursing staff.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Experience: 2 years' experience with Radiation Oncology
- Licensure/ Certification: IL Reg Nurse License or MI Reg Nurse License
- Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Excellent communication skills needed Self-starter, autonomous Attention to detail, well organized, multi-tasker.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Master’s degree in nursing
- Experience: 5 years ins Radiation Oncology
- Other Skills/ Knowledge: Epic, Aria
