POSITION SUMMARY: The Home Medical Equipment (HME) Inventory Planner is responsible for assisting with all inventory functions. In doing so, the HME Inventory Planner ensures the distribution, ordering, re-supply and tracking of inventory for all HME Locations. Assists in the management of all buyer/planner functions, including but not limited to, product sourcing, negotiation, vendor relationships and subcontracting agreements. Coordinates receiving activities and maintains accurate inventory control information. Responds to inquiries related to and resolves problems regarding all inventory related matters. Responsible for shipping supplies as needed. Act as a liaison between inventory and delivery staff to ensure all patients' needs are met in a manner consistent with OSF Key Initiatives.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School/GED
Other Licenses/Certifications:
- Maintains a valid driver's license
Experience:
- 1 year supply chain, warehouse, inventory or Durable Medical Equiptment (DME) experience.
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of DME experience.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently and execute own workload.
