What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructor - Non-Doctoral position at OSF HealthCare?
Expected pay for this position is $31.19 - $36.69/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides classroom and clinical/laboratory instruction for students in the nursing major including preparation of content, assignments, and evaluation of student academic progress. Interacts with other course faculty to facilitate student learning and to promote quality nursing care for clients. Maintains community and clinical partnerships that support educational goals especially as it relates to faculty and student scholarship. Participates in the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the total educational program.
Experience in research and statistics is necessary for this faculty position. This can be a nurse but it is not required.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Master’s degree in research-related field
- Experience: Previous teaching experience at the graduate level
- Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Knowledge of statistics and research design.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Evidence of official enrollment in a doctoral program
- Other Skills/ Knowledge: Learning Management System (LMS) experience
