Expected pay for this position is $33.18 - $43.97/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager, Regional Health Information is responsible for oversight of Health Information Management (HIM) Departments and assigned Ministry wide work stream. This position will control and coordinate activities related to the compiling, processing, and maintaining records of hospital patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal and regulatory requirements. Supervises and maintains the department with regards to financial management and supervision and competency of team members. Designs and evaluates functions, processes, and workflows of designated work stream. Manages release of information, scanning, identity management, and deficiencies in accordance with the standardization set by the Ministry Work Stream owner.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information or related field.
- 2 years of previous Health Information Management leadership experience
- Computer software knowledge
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years leadership experience in Health Information Management.
- RHIA, RHIT Working knowledge of EPIC
