Expected pay for this position is $29.01 - $40.96/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Material Resource Utilization Coordinator (MRUC) coordinates and assist healthcare providers and department management in selecting and procuring the most cost effective material resources available to meet or exceed the Medical Center's high standards for quality care. The MRUC analyzes, interprets, and facilitates the use of data in product/equipment selection and resource utilization efforts. The MRUC routinely presents proposals and recommendations to clinicians, physicians, and department management regarding material resource utilization, product/equipment quality issues, supply costs, procurement processes, etc. The MRUC also works closely with Clinical Support, Logistics, and departmental personnel to coordinate material resource issues during the redesign and implementation of new healthcare delivery systems and takes an active role in the healthcare community, sharing innovations, supply cost, and resource utilization information and concerns with physicians, clinicians, other department personnel.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School/GED
- Experience: 3 years of clinical or medical product knowledge/sales experience
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or a healthcare related field or equivalent on-the-job work experience Working knowledge of specific computer applications (spreadsheet, word processing, data base) is required.
- Knowledge of the Medical Center's specific hospital materials management, financial and/or clinical information systems is desirable.
