What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Tech I position at OSF HealthCare?
Expected pay for this position is $19.81 - $23.31/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Tech I designs and prepares the production files and operates the equipment to produce and fulfill client orders and projects. Interacts with clients for proof approvals, performs or oversees regular maintenance on all production equipment as required, and assists with maintaining material and project inventory.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma/ GED
Experience: N/A Licensure/ Certification: Valid Driver's License.
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: 3 years of experience operating equipment utilized in the signage, recognition or promotional products industry. 3 years of graphic software experience. Experience with UV printing or laser engraving equipment.
Licensure/ Certification: Some form of technical accreditation in a related field.
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of the signage specifications defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, with the ability to research, interpret and apply to projects.
