Expected pay for this position is $59.90 - $70.47/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
This position will work at Eastland Pharmacy in Bloomington
Hiring a pharmacist to work PRN - will assist in covering when pharmacist staff are out on leave, out sick, paid time off, and when there is a need for coverage.
Pharmacy is open Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm
POSITION SUMMARY: The Retail Pharmacist reviews prescriptions, obtains clarifications and analyzes drug therapy. Responsible for compounding and dispensing medications according to established policies and procedures of the professional of pharmacy. Supervises pharmacy technicians in the preparation of medication.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensure/ Certification: Current Illinois State Pharmacist License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's Science Pharmacy or PharmD Experience: 3 years of experience in Retail Pharmacy
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and various other medical personnel when explaining medication use and gathering and exchanging other medication information. Analytical skills necessary in order to determine drug appropriateness and evaluate drug interactions. Strong customer service skills. Ability to multi-task.
