This position is considered PRN (which means the hours vary and no hours are guaranteed)
When scheduled to work hours will be between 8:00am-10:00pm (Monday-Saturday); Sunday 10:00am-10:00pm
Starting pay for this position is $16.52/hour.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Retail Pharmacy Clerk performs general office duties including answering phones, operating cash register, reconciling cash register tape total with monies received, verifying cash register balances and maintaining records of all charge accounts. Orders and receives shipments of supplies, verifies accuracy and condition of items received, and stocks display shelves with same.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: N/A
Other skills/knowledge: Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Strong mathematic skills to make change and balance cash register.
Strong computer and typing skills in order to input data on medications and patient prescriptions, and process payments.
Licensure/Certifications: N/A
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 3 months of work experience in retail pharmacy or 1 year in retail environment.
