Pay range for this position is $33.91 - $51.04/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
**Eligible for $10,000 Sign on Bonus with 2 years of RN experience - two year work commitment to OSF Saint Elizabeth - external candidates**
**Sign on Bonus with less than 2 years RN exp - $5,000 with two year work commitment to OSF Saint Elizabeth - internal New Grad RNs and external candidates**
**$3.25 Weekend Differential**
POSITION SUMMARY: The RN Operating Room protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of a Registered Nurse licensure. In addition collaborating with surgeons and providers on a multidisciplinary care team of members that provide care and coordination across the continuum. Assesses and evaluates needs of the intra-operative patient’s physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families. Supports family needs with communication and instruction, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practice, and maintains professional disposition at all times.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Licenses/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.
Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: BSN
Experience: 6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
