What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor Clinical HME Respiratory Care position at OSF HealthCare?
Expected pay for this position is $35.33 - $41.57/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Supervisor coordinates and supervises daily operations of Home Medical Equipment (HME) Respiratory Therapy (RT) division to ensure patient outcomes are achieved, high-quality care is delivered, and the patient experience is enhanced. As part of the HME Leadership Team, develop and operationalize respiratory clinical strategies. Collaborates with other OSF clinical divisions to develop and operationalize best practices and coordinate appropriate patient outcomes.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, Computer Science, or other related field.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Three years experience as a Respiratory Therapist within a healthcare organization
Licensure/Certifications
• Illinois Licensed Respiratory Therapist
• Valid driver’s license & car insurance coverage
Other skills/knowledge
• Knowledge of state, federal and Joint Commission regulatory requirements that affect healthcare and HME
• Good communication skills in order to work with all levels of leadership, different levels of team members and is skilled in conflict resolution in order to lead diverse teams through process improvement solutions.
• Analytical skills in order to critical think through and resolve issues and execute decisions.
• Excellent organizational skills in order to meet changing demands and deadlines.
• Knowledge or computerize EMR program, and be able to utilize Microsoft Office
• Project Management skills in order to develop project plans, including work breakdown structures, key resource requirements, risks and alternatives, supporting documentation and justification, and quality assurance procedures.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Three year’s experience in a HME /Home Care organization
