What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor Physician Office IM/Peds position at OSF HealthCare?
Expected pay for this position is $32.87 - $46.40/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Supervisor, Physician Office-non RN supervises, directs, and schedules team members within the clinic locations. They are responsible for the day to day activities of a medical office practice and collaborates with team members to meet patient needs. Works with office leadership to evaluate the overall performance of team members towards the delivery of high quality patient care. Effectively addresses business operation needs and partners with office leadership on recommending budgets and assuring adherence to policies and procedures. Maintains cooperative working relationships with physicians, advance practice providers, OSFMG Coordinators, Medical Center personnel, other OSF entities, and external agencies and organizations. They lead by example, conduct themselves in a positive and professional manner, and is an advocate for the team members in the practice.
This site Supervisor will be based at Big Hollow but also expected to cover Brimfield and Primary Care Flex pool as needed.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Associate's degree
- Experience: Associate's degree AND 2 years experience in a healthcare office setting
- Additional Experience: Clinical experience (RN, MOA, CMA, etc.) to provide education and cover the floor when needed
- Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented

- Experience: Leadership experience
- Other skills/knowledge: Ability to multitask and prioritize Microsoft office
