Expected pay for this position is $18.43 - $21.69/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Supervisor, Retail Team oversees, directs, organizes and supervises all aspects of the day to day operations of the hospital’s gift shop. This includes, but is not limited to inventory tracking, financial reconciliation, quality, cost control, staffing, and training. Ensure customer satisfaction, operational standards and merchandising standards are met or exceeded daily. Work closely with volunteers to ensure adequate coverage and optimal service.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma
2-3 years retail/merchandising experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree
- Gift shop management experience in a hospital or health care setting
- 2-3 years supervisory experience with employees/volunteers
Licensure/Certifications : None
Other skills/knowledge:
- To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of inventory control systems and basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
