POSITION SUMMARY: Provides daily leadership for the Trauma Recovery Program and supports the achievement of outcomes related to this program, inpatient and ambulatory. Oversees the daily operation of the Trauma Recovery program. Directly supervises the therapists, care managers, project evaluator and the secretary/volunteer liaison. Works in coordination with the Manager to ensure policies and procedures are followed and ensures the smooth operation of the program. May perform duties of a therapist as needed.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master’s degree in a social work, counseling or behavioral health-related field. Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Experience: 3 years of progressively more responsible leadership-related work experience necessary in order to gain comprehensive knowledge and expertise needed to develop a strategic perspective and independently solve complex process problems in a collaborative manner in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. Other skills/knowledge: • Analytical skills necessary to develop, implement and administer policies, procedures, analyze financial and clinical data and prepare clear, concise reports that identify opportunities and propose appropriate action plans and budgets. • Interpersonal skills in order to coach, mentor and effectively lead assigned personnel, facilitate/organize/direct the work of others and to maintain positive relationships among leadership, ministry/facility staff and internal/external stakeholders. • Proven skills in written/verbal communications, problem solving, independent problem solving, decision making abilities, creativity, prioritization/delegation and necessary computer-related skill. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Working knowledge of trauma, including effects of trauma, types of trauma, key elements of working with trauma and evidence-based treatment approaches. CPR certification is recommended.
