What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transporter position at OSF HealthCare?
Starting pay for this position is $16.52/hour.
POSITION SUMMARY: Transporter is responsible for performing patient transports and patient transfers using the appropriate equipment while adhering to safe patient handling policies and procedures. Position is also responsible for picking up and delivering specimens, patient care items, visitors between patient care units and other ancillary departments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • • Certifications: American Heart Association BLS • Other skills/knowledge: Basic computer knowledge PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Experience: 6 months patient care and/or customer service
