Job Specifics
- OSF HealthCare Cardiovascular Institute is a group of 30 Cardiologists and 3 Cardiovascular Surgeons with a catchment area extending throughout the entire state of Illinois and surrounding regions.
- Our Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology team is based out of our flagship hospital, OSF St. Francis Medical Center, a high-volume quaternary referral center with 642 beds, boasting the following :
- Comprehensive Advanced Heart Failure program with a fully-staffed and busy inpatient service and high-volume outpatient clinic.
- CMS Certified Heart Transplant Program with tremendous growth potential.
- CMS Certified LVAD Program with two Heart Failure surgeons implanting HeartMate 3.
- ACGME Certified Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship with 9 General Cardiology fellows and structured resident and medical student rotations.
- Regional Cardiogenic Shock referral center with surgical and interventional temporary Mechanical Circulatory Support services.
- ELSO Certified Gold Level ECMO Program (VA and VV).
- Robust Interventional Cardiology program with comprehensive Structural Heart Disease program.
- High-volume Electrophysiology program with expertise in high-risk endo / epicardial VT ablation.
