Certification Details BLS ARRT Certified IEMA Certified ACLS Job Details Position Summary : Provide technical assistance for selected diagnostic and interventional invasive procedures. Use of hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data. Scrub assist for all diagnostic and interventional procedures, including preparation and manipulation of catheters, guide-wires, and other devices. Injection of contrast media and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician. Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy. Job Requirements Graduate of AMA Approved School in Radiography Registered by A.R.R.T. / license by IEMA BLS required Minimum of 1 year experience as a Cath Lab Tech Associate's Degree in Radiography (preferred) ARRT Certified (Required) IEMA Certified or willing to Obtain Schedule Information Flexibility in adjusting schedule to meet department needs. Shares responsibility of overtime, on-call and necessary schedule changes with co-workers. Unit Specific Information Operates all emergency equipment. Assists with all procedures performed in the department, specifically, in the role of scrub assistant under the direct supervision of the procedural doctor. Participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating guidelines / practices to ensure quality care and to provide effective, efficient department operation.
