Expected pay for this position is $23.06 - $27.13/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
MOA Pay- $19.90 per hour.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Medical Assistant will perform delegated clinical and administrative duties consistent with Medical Assistant program education, training, and experience. May work in both the clinical and front office functions of the practice providing clerical support, assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care support activities at the direction of the physician/provider. Performs the duties in accordance with the specific needs of the practice.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
High School Diploma or GED
AND Certificate of completion or Diploma from a medical assistant program
OR Completion of Guild MedCerts medical assistant certification course AND certificate of completion from OSF applied learning program
OR Education equivalency: at least 6 months experience in Certified Medical Assistant role
OR proof of completion of on-the-job training/education program for certified medical assisting in another healthcare organization.
Licensure/ Certification: CMA-Certified Medical Assistant Current certification by one the following approved certifying agencies:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent, previous experience with an electronic health record, phlebotomy.
Licensure/ Certification: If working in the Rural Health Clinic setting, will be required to have BLS through the American Heart Association.

Experience: 1 year experience in a patient care role. Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office and email Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
