Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
This position offers a $1.75/hour weekend differential.

Welcome to the Women's Care Unit, where we prioritize the health and well-being of our diverse patient population through comprehensive care and specialized services. Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals works tirelessly to ensure a supportive and healing environment for every individual under our care. The Women's Care Unit boasts 18 private beds, providing a comfortable and confidential space for our patients. WCU specializes in the care of a variety of high-risk obstetric (antepartum) mothers, postoperative cases such as hysterectomies, breast-related issues including mastectomies, general medical-surgical overflow, and gynecologic oncology cases. Our staff, including Patient Care Technicians, strive to create an atmosphere where patients feel supported and confident in their journey toward health and recovery.
Position Summary
The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
- CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS
- High School Diploma or GED Experience
- Six months experience in a clinical healthcare environment
- Six months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients
Salary : $19 - $22
