Expected pay for this position is $58.00 - $76.86/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Director of Medical Imaging is responsible for planning and directing the provision of Medical Imaging services for the Medical Center. Develops, implements, and monitors, Medical Imaging standards for quality and productivity to ensure high quality services in accordance with Medical Center, off campus departments and third party requirements, initiating corrective action as necessary. Responsible for coordinating all services with other departments and maintaining positive working relationships.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree
  
  

Experience:

• 5 years of experience in multiple medical imaging departments.
• 3 years of leadership experience
  
  

Other Skills/knowledge:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  
  

Education:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors of Business Administration or Health Care Management
  
  

Experience:

• Previous experience managing a Medical Imaging or Radiation Oncology department.
• 5 years of experience as a radiology technologist or in a Radiation Oncology department as a therapist in a medical center-based Radiology or Radiation Oncology department.
