Starting pay for this position is $16.52/hour. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing environment for the benefit of patients, visitors, and staff. While executing the assigned tasks, the EVS Worker will have some contact with patients and their family/loved ones. Contact may include physical, psychological, educational, and safety related and should be appropriate to the specific demographics of patients served in assigned service areas. Responsible for ensuring timely room cleans, especially as it relates to hospital patient throughput and responds favorably to requests to adjust daily workflow or area assignment to meet hospital/discharge flow needs. The EVS worker, in accordance with standards of quality, is an essential contributor to hospital disinfection and infection prevention.
