The hourly rate for this position is $17.00/hour This is an Hourly position.
Overview
This internship is available to an interested student that can commit to working a summer only internship. The internship would start May 27th and run through the beginning of August with a tentative end date of August 8th (this end date is subject to change).
Work location of this internship will be at the JUMP Simulation and Education Center in Peoria, IL. Interested students must be willing to work during the summer in Peoria, IL as the internship will not offer the option to work remote.

Position Summary
- As a Software Development Intern, you will play a crucial role in building innovative healthcare solutions
- Gain experience as a full-stack developer working with modern web, server, and database technologies, including but not limited to React, .NET Core, SQL Server, and Azure architectures.
- Drive innovation into our product suite by designing, developing, troubleshooting, maintaining, optimizing, and scaling Azure, cloud-based services and web applications in an Agile team setting
- Work with a team to deliver features and improve architecture
- Own full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, and operating in production
- Build solutions with a high level of reliability, scalability, and security
- Demonstrate an ability to learn and adopt relevant new frontend and backend technologies, tools, methods, and processes
- Passionate about user experience and product quality
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Student attending college or university currently enrolled as an undergraduate/graduate student within a technology-focused program
- Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language – C# preferred
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, systems, and OOP principles
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with strong communication skills, and a desire to learn new things
