We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician Ito join our growing team! The Desktop Support Technician I provides first level of support for end user issues/requests and participates in the new user setup and configuration process on desktop/laptop computers to ensure that hardware and software are functioning properly. This position must have the ability to diagnose problems and troubleshoot by phone and on site as well as coordinating third party repairs/purchases with outside vendors.

Job Functions For An Desktop Support Technician I
- Provides first level of support for end user hardware and software issues/requests
- Assist other IT staff members with support request when needed
- Responsible for corporate IMAC (Installs, Moves, Additions, Changes) at various locations
- Imaging of new laptops and desktops for deployment
- Ensures deployed hardware and software are functioning properly
- Assists in maintaining hardware and software inventory
- Configures and supports corporate VOIP accounts
- Meets corporate SLA’s for IT Helpdesk Ticket System
- Work directly with all levels of employees to troubleshoot user issues remotely as well as in person
- Coordinates third party repairs and purchases of parts and repairs with outside vendors
- Test and recommend new hardware and software solutions
- May involve limited travel to service/visit offices based on necessity
- Other duties as assigned
- HS Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Results driven attitude with the initiative to take on new responsibilities and independently manage assigned projects
- Experience handling support requests in a technical support role
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products, Windows operating systems, and E-mail products (MS Outlook and MS Exchange, Office 365 a plus)
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from everyday users and PC hardware
- Demonstrated analytic, written, and oral communications skills
- Good understanding of current technologies and ability to learn new technologies independently
- Bachelor’s degree - preferred in IT, technical, or related field
- Related IT Certifications
- Previous experience providing desktop support within IT field
- Experience installing and maintaining user related software applications
- Experience with PC imaging solution
- Experience with Enterprise Security Solutions (AV, EDR, etc.)

Salary : $46,700 - $58,700
