What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Intern position at OSG?
We currently have an opportunity for a 2025 Summer Intern at OSG in our Carol Stream, IL facility. This is a compensated internship with no health benefits or paid holidays/ vacation time and will run through the summer months of May – August.
Job Title: Finance Intern
Position: Temp, 32 - 40 hours/ Week
Work Location: Carol Stream, IL
Onsite: 4 days a week
Responsibilities
- Assist with general financial analysis (Profitability Analysis, Key Performance Metrics, Contract/Pricing Support)
- Support with adoption of new ERP and financial reporting tools.
- Work closely with Finance leadership on various process improvements projects.
Position Qualifications
We are looking for a highly resourceful and analytical college junior or senior student with the following attributes:
- GPA Requirement: 3.0 GPA or higher
- Working towards Bachelor's/Master's degree program in Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and strong Excel skills preferred.
- Critical thinking/problem solving coupled with assertiveness to pursue necessary information to resolve issues.
- Intellectually curious with a passion for learning.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail.
- Ambitious and capable of working independently; proactive attitude towards professional development.
