Our Recruiter requires a strong understanding of recruiting, sourcing, external job boards, scheduling, conducting phone screens, virtual interviews, extending job offers, and submitting background checks, while having a passion for finding the best talent for OSG! Building strong internal relationships with Hiring Managers will be a key driver for success.
As part of this unique role, you will play a key part in driving the growth of our organization by building a strong talent pipeline, developing recruitment strategies, and collaborating closely with hiring managers to meet staffing needs. Will be a leader to enhance employee onboarding and have opportunities to support HR projects that will contribute to our overall culture here at OSG.
On-site position; 5 days a week – Carol Stream, IL

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the human resources team, internal, and remote managers to understand hiring needs
- Thoroughly communicate with hiring managers and HR on status of open positions, candidate quality, and candidate pipeline
- Partner with managers to provide a welcoming and positive candidate experience
- Conduct phone screens, interviews, and schedule candidates
- Proactively source qualified candidates utilizing various channels, including job boards, social media, and industry contacts
- Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accuracy of organized documentation and time to fill metrics are being met
- Display an elevated level of discretion regarding compensation and background checks
- Work with cross-functional with various departments to develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates
- Facilitate onboarding efforts and coordinate scheduling for new hires and new managers
- Partner with operations team to coordinate hourly recruiting efforts to support on site operations as needed
- Participate in process improvement projects with the HR team as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 3 years of Recruitment or Talent Acquisition experience
- Strong understanding of labor laws and best practices in hiring
- Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, Power point, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills to work seamlessly with other departments
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment software, preferably ADP Workforce Now
- Exemplifies a sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing priorities
- Demonstrates active listening, shares information concisely and purposefully, and remains open to different perspectives
- Able to travel to other site locations if needed
