We are looking for a friendly and professional person to join our growing service team. Osgood Bank is a community bank with branches located in Osgood, Fort Loramie, Chickasaw, and Lakeview, OH. Summary of Position Requirements for Bank Customer Service Representative:
- Greet customers and answer phones promptly and with a friendly attitude.
- Build customer rapport.
- Familiar with bank products and services to recommend and refer new services to customers based on their needs.
- Ensure proper storage and security of currency in cash drawers and vaults.
- Adhere to all bank security standards – including dual control requirements.
- Identifying acceptable types of identification and handling of forged and altered identification.
- Knowledge of funds availability rules and placing Regulation CC Holds when necessary.
- Processing a variety of transactions, including withdrawals from deposit accounts, payments to loans/credit cards and advances from lines of credit.
- Scanning and imaging documentation and completing workflows.
- Assist others with miscellaneous tasks, mailings, and calls.
- Represent the Bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, potential customers, and co-workers through applying our service standards.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
Qualifications for a Bank Customer Service Representative:
- High School Diploma or (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Comfortable using computer systems and computer programs.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Customer Service Experience
- Bank Customer Service Representative experience preferred
Physical Requirements for a Bank Customer Service Representative:
- Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Regularly required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds.
