Osha Thai Kitchen and Sushi is a Thai and sushi restaurant in the Downtown Village District of Holly Springs, NC.
Responsibilities
- Cut and portion ingredients according to recipes
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food on the line; ensure freshness
- Adhere to all sanitation and kitchen safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, utensils
- Communicating with food and materials vendors to manage inventory needs
Qualifications
- Prior experience as sushi chef (3 years preferred)
- Skilled in cutting fish, preparing sushi rice, and rolling sushi
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- Understanding of proper food handling procedures; ServSafe Certified preferred
- Ready to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Work in standing position for long periods of time
- Ability to effectively communicate with kitchen staff
- Safely lift, bend, carry up to 40 lbs.
