In this role, you'll lead the development and execution of clinical research projects that advance Oshi's reputation as an innovative leader in GI care. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and data science teams to turn real-world data and insights into high-impact publications.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the craft of writing, thrives on shaping clinical narratives, and has a proven track record of publishing in medical or scientific settings. A PhD is not required, but experience driving research efforts in a clinical or for-profit environment is essential.

What You'll Do
- Lead the full lifecycle of research publications, from concept to submission, including writing, editing, formatting, and responding to reviewer feedback.
- Interpret clinical and operational data to develop compelling, evidence-based research narratives.
- Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and operations teams to prioritize research initiatives and align outputs with organizational goals.
- Identify suitable journals and publication opportunities to amplify our research reach and visibility.
- Manage project timelines and stakeholder contributions across multiple concurrent research efforts.
- Monitor industry and publication trends to keep Oshi at the forefront of GI innovation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Clinical Research, Health Communication).
- 5 years of experience in medical or scientific writing, with a strong portfolio of published work.
- Demonstrated ability to translate clinical data and analyses into high-quality research outputs.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with research writing tools and platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail, editing, and communication skills.
- Experience in digital health, chronic condition management, or health tech startups.
- Familiarity with the submission process for high-impact, peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience with grant writing or regulatory submission documentation.
