Plan, design, and deliver high-quality professional development for teachers and staff on the effective integration of instructional technology. This may include workshops, coaching sessions, online modules, and other training formats.
Align professional development offerings with district initiatives, curriculum goals, and best practices in educational technology. Specifically, ensure all professional development aligns with the district's mission, vision, and core values.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in education, and incorporate relevant information into training programs.
Develop and maintain resources (e.g., guides, tutorials, websites) to support ongoing technology integration efforts.
Provide differentiated support to meet the diverse needs and skill levels of staff.
Model effective use of technology in the classroom, demonstrating best practices in instructional design and technology integration.
Represent the district as a presenter at local, regional, or national conferences.
Data-Driven Instruction Support:
Collaborate with teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators to utilize data effectively to inform instructional decisions and improve student outcomes.
Provide training and support on the use of data analysis tools and platforms.
Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of student data related to technology integration.
Help educators use data to personalize learning experiences and address individual student needs.
Specifically, use student learning data to assess the impact of technology integration on academic growth and engagement.
Support the technical implementation of standards-based grading practices as determined by secondary subject-area coordinators.
System and Hardware Support:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for district-approved learning management systems (LMS) (Canvas).
Provide training and oversight for the implementation of the district-approved learning management system (LMS) by supporting requests for access, configuring course blueprints, and verifying gradebook setup and implementation of grading standards for all middle schools.
Support the use and maintenance of classroom devices (e.g., Chromebooks, iPads, interactive whiteboards).
Collaborate with Tech Services to address technical issues and ensure smooth operation of technology resources.
Provide support and training for STEM or other curriculum programs that utilize technology.
Support the selection and evaluation of apps, websites, and Chrome extensions through established district processes.
Assist with the implementation and integration of new technology initiatives.
Collaboration and Communication
Work with teachers and instructional coaches to determine the most valuable technology to integrate in a classroom.
Stay abreast of new technologies and recommend new technologies to improve learning or district operations.
Develop and maintain records and documentation as needed (ie. attendance information for workshops, calendar of activities, feedback after workshops, etc.).
Collaborate with district personnel to implement district initiatives. Collaborate with teachers, building administration, Library Media Specialists, instructional coaches, parents, and the community to promote effective technology integration.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in K-12 education, with a demonstrated focus on instructional technology integration.
Experience in designing and delivering professional development for adult learners.
Experience with learning management systems (LMS), classroom technology, and data analysis tools.
Experience with project management and implementation is highly desirable.
Experience in instructional design and/or curriculum development is highly desirable.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and best practices in educational technology.
