Oshkosh Coil Spring is a family-owned manufacturer of industrial springs & wire forms. We are seeking a Customer Service Manager.
The Customer Service role involves processing new and existing orders while working with shipping to verify stock, review inventory and freight logs. Additionally, this role will process customer quotes, pricing histories and scheduling availability to provide accurate and complete entry of orders. This role goes beyond data entry.
The Customer Service Manager will learn and oversee the duties of the customer service representatives, and answer customer questions to help resolve customer service concerns by providing problem-solving resources. The Manager will manage the customer service staff, communicate job expectations, and conduct performance evaluations. The Manager will enforce company policies, procedures, and best practices. The Manager is part of the ISO management team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a customer service manager
- A working knowledge of customer service software, production software and databases.
- Highly proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
- Strong decision-making skills
- A strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy
- Strong investigative and cross-checking skills
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting is a plus
Education & Experience:
- Three to five years as a customer service manager or equivalent experience
