What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Camp Counselor - Full time Seasonal position at OSHKOSH COMMUNITY YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION INC?
Work Days: Hours vary Monday- Friday between 6:45AM-6PM; program operates June 9-August 29, 2025. Training begins end of May. Must be available to work all 13 weeks of the program and be in attendance for all training dates (May 30 and June 2-6, 2025).
Hours and pay: Full time weekly stipend (roughly 40-45 hours per week)
Educational requirements: Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma. Experience and education in child development or education is preferred.
Responsibilities: Engage and supervise youth in a fun, positive, and safe environment. Plan and implement weekly activities, themes, and enjoy weekly field trips! Staff must have a love for the outdoors and have the ability to work in such conditions. Staff are responsible for day-to-day operations of the program, participants, and activities.
