Pro Shop Attendant Job Description
This position will be responsible to our mission of providing high class service to our members and guests on a daily basis that is unmatched in our area.
Department Reports to:
PGA Professional- Austin Elsner
Club Manager- Bryce Halmstad
Summary of Qualifications:
Excellent verbal communication skills with members and guests in person or on the phone.
Have a positive attitude and be outgoing with members and guests.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to work as an individual or in a team environment. We are all leaders!
Proven ability to operate golf cars (must be 16 years of age).
Trustworthy and dependable. Able to operate point of sale system.
Essential Duties:
- Customer Service: Greet and assist members and guests. This includes answering questions about the facility, products, or services offered. They may help customers with special requests or provide recommendations for equipment or apparel.
- Sales and Inventory: Sell merchandise such as golf clubs, balls, apparel, and accessories. Restock items, and ensure that the merchandise is displayed properly.
- Booking Tee Times: Help schedule and manage tee times for golfers, ensuring smooth operation and minimizing wait times.
- Cash Handling: Process sales transactions, handle cash, and operate the cash register. They may also assist with billing and checking out customers.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure that the pro shop is neat, organized, and clean. This includes tidying up display areas, ensuring shelves are stocked.
- Assist with Events: During tournaments or special events, the attendant may be involved in event organization, helping with registration, providing prizes or trophies, and supporting event staff.
Compensation and benefits:
$12.00-$15.00/hour
Practice and golf privileges
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
