The Job: As Program Promotion and Outreach Coordinator for our Preschool and Afterschool Programs, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community outreach strategies and initiatives to increase enrollment, build partnerships, and promote the mission of our school programs. This role involves connecting to families, local businesses, schools, and community organizations to foster relationships and expand program visibility.

The Job: As Program Promotion and Outreach Coordinator for our Preschool and Afterschool Programs, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community outreach strategies and initiatives to increase enrollment, build partnerships, and promote the mission of our school programs. The Core Duties:
- Design and create a calendar of outreach strategies and activities to increase program awareness, including community events, networking events, and other communication opportunities that promote ECE and Club-J.
- Identify and source new partnerships for engagement and program awareness.
- Partner with marketing to develop promotional materials, social media content and outreach strategies for potential participants. Identify where marketing materials should be promoted.
- Identify and join parent groups on social media platforms and promote OFJCC childcare programs.
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in youth program development preferred
- Experience in community outreach, marketing, or public relations preferred
- Ability to create and sustain positive working relationships at all levels; internal and external.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in social media platforms and basic graphic design tools is a plus
- Passion for children’s programming and community outreach
- Cleared Background Check (Fingerprints, Child Abuse Index Check and Medical/TB exam)
- Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certified
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate information clearly (written and oral)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
- Ability and desire to work independently and as a team member with the community and other employees
- Positive, upbeat and enthusiastic about working in a non-profit environment
