GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Director, performs a variety of duties at Township Parks. This position will work approximately 3 hours per day, 7 days a week. Assignment will run from early May to end September.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pick up all litter daily
- Empty park trash receptacles daily
- Maintain all rest rooms - clean daily
- Check and replenish all paper and cleaning supplies in the rest rooms
- Communicate needed maintenance supplies, i.e., paper supplies, cleaning products.
- Rake out wood chip play surfaces to maintain an even surface under equipment.
- Note areas of safety concerns or other areas of concern which if addressed will make visiting the parks a more pleasurable experience.

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
- DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIREMENT: Must maintain a current Michigan motor vehicle operator’s license without restrictions (other than corrective lenses requirement)
- EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent
