The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI’s overall total rewards package. Job Responsibilities
- Respond to employee benefit inquiries, contacting vendors as required to resolve issues, escalating and partnering with other team members as appropriate.
- Coordinate with the field HR teams for plan education and enrollments (including new hires, qualified life events, online approvals)
- Process monthly employee benefit billing by generating billing reports from internal and external systems and generating check requests.
- Prepare and distribute required employee mailings and disclosures including COBRA notices and other requirements as they occur from time to time.
- Assist with the annual 401(k) plan audits
- Monitor the file feed reports for the benefit vendors for issues and errors and work with the appropriate parties for resolution.
- Maintain employee benefit files, process employee benefit changes on vendor portals, create new employee benefit file folders, and perform other related file maintenance.
- Administer the Tuition Reimbursement program
- Support the annual enrollment process by preparing communication materials, interacting with vendors on program changes or employee elections.
- Prepare and distribute, upon approval, employee communication and marketing materials such as vendor promotions, event posters, and other communications as may be necessary.
- Respond to, prepare and file, medical child support orders.
- Job responsibilities include access to HIPPA protected health information, such as employee must comply with HIPPA Privacy and Security requirements and policies.
- Upholds the security of and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
- This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3-5 years of experience in related field is preferred.
- Experience in employee benefits
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
- Ability to problem-solve and work successfully in a team environment.
- Gives attention to detail and follows instruction.
- Ability to stay organized and multi-task efficiently.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
- HRIS experience (UKG/Kronos is a plus)
- BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.
- Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.
- Work conditions are typical of an office environment.
- This role does not require any domestic travel
- Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds
- Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
- Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4 hours.
